About Yoga

I am a qualified yoga teacher. I came to yoga having been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and hoping it would help. I believe that yoga, along with some other life style changes, has helped me get my illness under control and improved my quality of life.

My teachings are from my own personal experience, my yoga teacher Margaret and my yoga teacher trainer Debbie (www.feelnowyoga.com). I would like to thank both of them for their insights and support.

I call my practice ‘supportive movement’ as I would like to encourage all to feel how they are moving and discourage everyone from collapsing into their joints.

Our practice is gentle, with the emphasis on how, rather than where you get to… freedom of movement before range of movement.
